Lindsay Lohan has made what looks to be another dumb decision. She's fired the woman most responsible for keeping her out of prison -- lawyer Shawn Holley.
As TMZ points out, Shawn has kept Linds "out of the pokey in the jewelry heist case as well as several probation violation cases. And she's almost magically made some criminal investigations disappear." This comes while the actress faces criminal prosecution in both
Sources say Mark -- who's been called a "menace to the public" by some lawyers -- sent a letter to Shawn saying he was now representing Lindsay on all criminal matters.
Furthermore, Lindsay Lohan cannot get out of her own way. TMZ is reporting that she bungled a plea deal when she fired her attorney Shawn Holley. That happened just as she was on her way to meet with the prosecutor and judge to work out a deal that would guarantee Lindsay would avoid jail. TMZ believes her attorney will be present at the early-morning hearing today, but only because she's worked on this case for so long. Lindsay still owes her about $300,000 in unpaid bills.
Lindsay is pleading for Holley to return to the case, but she doesn't like the agreement which would have her serving 6 months in a "lockdown rehab." Lindsay didn't like the sound of that, and who could blame her? Whatever lockdown rehab is, it sounds like a jail sentence with registered drug addicts. We all know that Lindsay still fancies herself a movie star. She can't be locked down for 6-months. She would miss the world premiere of her next failed movie: The Canyons.
