Mariah Carey?? Or should I Say Mariah Cannon? LOL :-o! You Go Girl! Mariah Carey has been around since I was a lil’ girl bobbin' my head listening to "Dream Lover" and belting out "Vision of Love!" Now 18 years later Mariah's career is still active and she still has me singing to her music! 11 albums in the game Mariah is still at the top with the release of her newest album E=MC2. With a New Hubby Nick Cannon to back her up, Mariah is riding on cloud 9! But it wasn't always an easy road for Mariah. After her Divorce from her first husband Tommy Mattola, Carey ended up in a downward spiral: her movie "Glitter" toppled at the box office and the movie's soundtrack titled "Glitter" didn't have much success either. Mariah found herself jobless when she was dropped from her label and in the hospital to her exhaustion. But Mariah was preparing for one of the biggest comebacks ever. Her 10th album the Emancipation of Mimi dropped in 2005 and let the world know that Mariah was back and was here to stay!! This was one of my favorite albums from her and I was diggin’ her singles like "Shake it Off" and "We Belong Together.” Now she is back with a new album and a new Husband...the world is hers! Check out her singles "Touch my Body" and "Bye Bye Bye" in rotation right now!

 Ne-Yo is the Business!!!! In my opinion, he is the future of the R&B music game! Since the time he hit the music scene back in 2006 with his debut album In My Own Words, it was official that he had arrived. Ne-Yo already had a place waiting for him as he had been behind the scenes of the music business writing hits for a number of artists. Some of the biggest songs he's written was Mario's 2004 smash hit "Let Me Love You," and Beyonce's "Irreplaceable." Then in '06 Ne-Yo made his way to the forefront and the rest is history! His debut album, In My Own Words, went to platinum status with hit singles like "So Sick,""When You're Mad," and "Sexy Love." Ne-Yo hit the big screen as well while making appearances in "Save the Last Dance 2" and "Stomp the Yard." When his second album Because of You hit the stores, Ne-Yo was on top of his game and being showered with awards. The Grammy winner has a bright future ahead of him with his triple threat: writing, singing and acting. He has a new album due out in June titled Year of the Gentleman and is set to hit the big screen once again in the up coming movie Mama, I want to Sing! Catch Ne-Yo in rotation now, he's featured on hits such as Plies' single "Bust it Baby," and Felli Fel's "Finer Thangs." If that isn't enough Ne-Yo for you, “Closer" is the newest single off the upcoming album... and you already know who brought it to you first!!!!

Diddy's Princesses are back! The girls: (from left to right in photo above) Shannon, Dawn, Andrea, D. Woods, and Aubrey have a lot to be excited about. The beautiful ladies of Danity Kane are returning to the scene with a new album titled "Welcome to the Dollhouse." The Birth of Danity Kane began in 2005 with P. Diddy's idea to create an all girl band! Diddy and his team went through thousands of girls and these 5 hot mamas were the chosen few to make Diddy's final cut! Their first Album, self titled "Danity Kane," hit the charts and shot to platinum! With songs like "Showstopper" and "Ride for You" smashing the charts, it looks like Diddy found his Diamonds in the Ruff! Nevertheless Diddy is never satisfied:-o and threw major pressure on the girls when he launched another country-wide search in hopes to make an all boy band! Diddy was successful as the birth of his sexy boy band Day 26 arrived. The ladies of Danity Kane found themselves competing against the fellas of Day 26 in the latest season of “Making the Band”, as the two groups fight to see who can complete an album first. Tune into MTV to catch all the drama!!! We will have to see who will put a bigger dent in the charts, but until then you can catch Danity Kane's new single called "Damaged," in rotation right now on B95! Holla! ~Cooks T-Pain

 He likes the "Bartender," that's probably why he wants to "Buy you a drink" LOL!! Man o' man I have nothing bad to say about this man right here. T-Pain has been making music for my ears since the release of his first hit "I’m Sprung" back in 2005! This Tallahassee Florida Native lucked out when he did his own rendition of Akon's popular song "Locked up." Akon got a hold of the track and signed him to Konvict Music Records. Since then T-pain has not only been on the charts with multiple hits of his own, but has lent his vocals out and been featured on other people's that have ripped up the music charts!!! His most recent collaboration "Low" with fellow Florida born artist Flo-rida blew up and was featured in the film Step Up 2's soundtrack!! SHOUT OUT!! T-pain has a second album out right now title "Epiphany." I am almost positive that he is in a state of epiphany considering the state of his music career. And I’m sure that "lil" Grammy he took home for Best Rap song Collaboration with Kanye West didn't hurt his ego too much either :-) Congrats to Kanye and T-Pain on living the "Good life."
