During a recent interview, T-Pain revealed his feelings on what "critics" are saying about his use of auto-tune and why he is getting props from artists like Lil Wayne and Kanye West.
"I brought it back. I didn't start it," I didn't invent the damn thing. People think that I feel that way when I say that I should get respect or recognition for bringing it back."
Since Pain blew the dust of the "magic machine," even established artists have been utilizing its robotic effects.
"Lil Wayne will tell you right now that the only reason he is doing it is because of me," he continued. "He saw that people accepted it."
Having already tapped T-Pain's talents for "Good Life," Kanye West got in on the auto-tune craze, even re-enlisting Pain's help for his 808s And Heartbreak.
"Kanye called and said, 'I got to borrow your style for a second," Pain said. "He's kept it a little longer than he said he was going to, but at least he gives me the props."
Check this video out....LOL....Thanks Auto-Tune....
