Is Chief Keef in danger of being dropped by Interscope Records? That’s the word according to AllHipHop, which claims the label is disappointed by first-week sales of his debut album Finally Rich -- it moved only 50,000 units in its first week in stores.
Interscope brass apparently also weren't happy that Keef skipped out on a scheduled video shoot with 50 Cent, which they felt would have helped raise his profile. And Keef's decision to cancel his first national tour might have been the final nail in his coffin.
Ironically, just weeks ago, Interscope head Jimmy Iovine was said to be looking to film a bio-pic about Chief Keef and thought he had the potential to be a bigger star than 50 Cent.
