Bone Thugs-N-Harmony feel that their mentor Eazy-E doesn't get the respect he deserves -- and that it's probably because he died from AIDS.
Bizzy Bone tells TMZ, “Some people seem like they are afraid to commemorate him due to how he died.” Krayzie Bone adds, “[Pac and Biggie] died being known as gangsta heroes. Eazy died from a disease, so many look at that differently.”
Bone Thugs plan to showcase Eazy during their set at this year’s Rock the Bells festival with a virtual version of the former N.W.A. rapper performing alongside them. Layzie Bone says, “We are going to make sure we have the stage full of Eazy love." The four-city traveling fest kicks off in San Bernardino, CA on September 7th.
Eazy-E died from AIDS in March 1995 at age 31. He was one of the first prominent rappers to reveal that he had H.I.V.
