Dr Dre might not be ready to drop Detox, but he is ready to help drop $70 million on the University of Southern California.

At a press conference, Dre and Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine, the team behind Beats by Dre headphones, announced that they are giving the money to USC to help create a degree that blends business, marketing, product development, design and liberal arts. Officially, the program will be known as the U.S.C. Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation.

Dre told reporters, "Jimmy and I have been very fortunate over the last 20 years. We've been given a lot, so we thought this was a great way to give back... I really wish there was a program like this to develop my skills. I basically had to do it the hard way. It was on-the-job training."

We've heard it before, but it sounds like Rihanna is done with Chris Brown for good.

A source tells the Chicago Sun-Times that RiRi recently picked up her phone and chewed out her ex. The snitch says, “She really blasted him, using language that made it sound like she never will get back with him again — no matter what people think.

Apparently she was particularly upset with Chris's comment that he wasn't ready to "wife" her. “She really thought that was a sexist, degrading thing for him to say. Especially after all Rihanna endured after he beat her and all that.”
