Nelly was detained in Texas last night after police found weed and heroin on his tour bus. According to TMZ, the rapper was busted after police pulled the bus over near a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca. During a search, they uncovered a duffle bag containing 36 small baggies of heroin and more than 10 pounds of marijuana, as well as a .45 caliber pistol. 

Nelly and several other people were detained during the search, but were later released after passenger Brian Keith Jones admitted the drugs and gun were his. 

The Sierra Blanca checkpoint is where Snoop Dogg, Fiona Apple and Willie Nelson have all been busted for drugs in recent years.
