Singer-actress Natina Reed, best known for her hits with the group Blaque, was killed late Friday night after being hit by a car in an Atlanta suburb.

Police said that it appeared Reed had been walking in the middle of a state highway when she was hit around 10:30 P.M. The car's driver called 911 and a passenger performed CPR, but Reed was pronounced dead at an area medical center shortly thereafter. She would have turned 33 today (Sunday).

Reed had a starring role in the cheerleading movie Bring It On and had recently begun work on a reunion with the other members of Blaque for an album and a possible reality show.
