The Twilight franchise's final opening weekend was a success. Breaking Dawn Part 2 earned $141.3 million since opening Thursday night. That's on par with the debut of Breaking Dawn Part 1, and just below that of the franchise record-holder, New Moon. It is also the eighth-biggest opening weekend of all time.

Skyfall fell from first to second with $41.5 million. In two weeks, the latest James Bond flick has made $161.3 million.

Lincoln landed in third after going into wide release and taking in $21 million.

Wreck-It Ralph was fourth with $18.3 million.

Flight was fifth with $8.6 million.
