Football legend Dan Marino added something else to his legacy a few years back -- a love child. The quarterback-turned-analyst started an affair with a CBS production assistant shortly after signing on in 2003, and she wound up having their baby in 2005.

Marino told the New York Post yesterday -- which was his 28th wedding anniversary -- "This is a personal and private matter. I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then. We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved.” 

Marino is scheduled to work the Super Bowl pre-game show this Sunday with Boomer Esiason and Shannon Sharpe.
