
A manhunt involving a multitude of law enforcement agencies is underway after three police officers were shot -- one fatally -- in Riverside County. Authorities have said the suspect is a former Los Angeles police officer already wanted in connection with the slaying of two people in Orange County. The record $1-Million bounty is the largest ever offered in Southern California. The ex-cop, now killer, is a former member of the U.S. Navy and has extensive marksmanship awards; along with training in survival. One could assume that this has helped him evade LAPD and FBI officials for over five days.
