The 2013 NBA playoffs started with a bang this year! The Warriors lost a nail biter to the Denver Nuggets 95-97; but the game wasn't all they lost. They also lost their All Star power forward David Lee for the rest of the playoffs after he tore his right hip flexor; likely making their chances of making it out of the first round even tougher. The Lakers found out just how legit the San Antonio Spurs are after they were blown away 91-79. The Clippers salvaged some hope for the state of California as they beat the Grizzlies 112-91. The Spurs showed to still have plenty of juice left in the tank; can they be a legit title contender to challenge the Thunder? Speaking of OKC; they destroyed the Rockets 120-91 in a high scoring show off of a game. The defending champ Miami Heat flexed their muscles against the Bucks in an easy 110-87 win. Indiana also cruised by Atlanta in a 107-90. It looks like NBA fans are in for a real treat this year. Can the Heat repeat? Will OKC finally step up and win one? Could the Spurs win one more before Pop and Tim Duncan retire? Well find all this out soon!
